After 20 years of caring for patients in a hospital setting, I am excited to pursue my new position in a holistic healthcare setting at ORGANIQUE. After graduating from UW-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I worked for 5½ years as a Pediatric ICU nurse at UW- Children’s Hospital in Madison. Returning to my hometown of Tomahawk, I worked for 14 years as an Endoscopy Sedation Nurse. The years spent in hospital settings, along with my background in Exercise Kinesiology/Management, resulted in my intent to prevent disease through nutrition and exercise.

A surgery in my teen years, along with unresolved health issues, inspired me to search beyond the limits of traditional Western medicine and symptom-based treatments. It was through a friend that I found ORGANIQUE and began my own healing journey and the discovery that true is health rooted in the interconnected realms of the physical and emotional aspects. I was supported to make changes in mind, body, and spirit, which expanded into the desire to help others. I continued my education with a certification in “Food, Nutrition, and Health.” What started as a need became a mission.

My husband Mike and I have four children who keep us forever busy. My personal interests include gardening, landscaping, exercise, golf, waterskiing, hiking in the mountains, spending time at the family cottage, watching my children compete in sports, and, finally, drinking coffee with my husband on the front porch on early summer mornings.

I am excited and thankful for this new chapter in my life as a Patient Advocate at ORGANIQUE.
